Your English speaking driver will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel at around 08:30 in the morning. You will be escorted to the well-known Wuzhou arcade in around 3.5hrs ride, 256KM.

After opened to outside world in 1897, Wuzhou had became the business center of Guangxi. The 1920s, the ancient buildings were knocked dowan and extended the street. So the original houses were replaced by arcades. There were continuous of Arcade Building in the ancient city which in the estern of the river. There are 560 buildings which are China and the West union on 22 Arcade Buildings Streets. Many business men got together here, and here was ever existing more than 1,500 shops. According to the appearance of Wuzhou arcade buildings, you can see many representative Chinese building language, like Catherine Wheel, tile carving, memorial archway and so on. The second floor of arcade buildings in Wuzhou are built with an iron ring and water gate. It is the sign of wet city in Wuzhou.

Next, go to the Dragon Mother Temple was built in the Northern Song dynasty in memory of the dragon mother who was once a legendary woman chieftain of the Southern Yue nationalities in the Warring States Period. The dragon mother is said to have a moral integrity of helping all the people in need and thus highly respected and regarded as the mother of the descendants of the dragon (namely, Chinese). The temple was rebuilt in the Ming & Qing dynasties and repaired and enlarged in the 1980's. It covers an area of 5000 square meters, including the following main buildings: the gateway, front & rear hall, temporary imperial hall, corridor, pavilion, stone tortoise pond, etc. The Dragon Mother Temple is a well-known historic scenic spot of the South-eastern area of Guangxi and attracts tens of thousands of tourists & devotees from home and abroad.
