Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Shanghai ,you will be transferred to Shanghai Railway Station, relax on the 4.5 hours bullet train ride to Beijing Upon arrival, your tour guide will pick you up from the exit of the arrival hall by holding your name sign.

Enjoy lunch in the local restaurant, then your tour begins at one of the world’s largest public areas—Tiananmen Square, home to the National Museum of China, the mausoleum of Mao Zedong and the great Monument to the Peoples’ Heroes.

From there you will pass through the South gate to the magnificent Forbidden City - a 250-acre complex of courtyards, palaces, pavilions and gardens, which served as the imperial palace for emperors and their households for more than 500 years. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987.

Move on to explore the Temple of Heaven, stroll through impressive temples and learn how the emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasties worship the God of Heaven and pray for the Good Harvests.

Next, you will stroll along the Hutong allay to discover the life style of the locals. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing. (Please book your own hotel in advance )
