This is a challenging high-altitude trek and good physical fitness is required. Bring your original passport, proper hiking shoes, warm clothing, sun protection, water, and personal trekking equipment. Mountain weather can change quickly. In winter conditions, crampons and other technical equipment may be required and can usually be rented in Imlil. The summit is subject to weather and the mountain guide’s safety assessment.

Accommodation at the Toubkal Refuge is basic and shared. Large luggage should remain in Marrakech or you can bring them and store them in imlil and the guides will help you; bring only what you need for the 2-day trek.
