It is often called the "jewel of Khmer art" or the "Citadel of the Women" due to the delicate and detailed craftsmanship.
Kulen Mountain's uniqueness stems from its role as the birthplace of the Khmer Empire, its spiritual significance, and its combination of natural and archaeological wonders. It's the sacred site where King Jayavarman II declared independence in 802 AD, and it features waterfalls, ancient temple ruins, and the River of a Thousand Lingas.
